The humidity is dropping and it is finally Fall on Sanibel & Captiva Islands. Since season is beginning, there are lots of fun events going on around the islands. This is a list of out Top 5 Sanibel & Captiva Fall Activities.

1.  Sanibel Island Farmers MarketFarmers Market

The very popular Sanibel Island Farmers Market is retuning Sunday, October 5th to the Sanibel City Hall. It will be held every Sunday from 8am-1pm and features 30 local vendors including fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, fresh seafood, BBQ, flowers, cheese, plants, pastas, sauces, dips, desserts, and the ever popular guacamole stand. A good tip is to remember to bring those reusable bags because some stands will not have plastic bags. The Sanibel Island Farmers Market runs every Sunday through the end of April.

Celebrate the 29th Annual Bailey Fest at Bailey's Shopping Center on October 26 from 12-4pm. It is a great event for the whole family! Their parking lot will be filled with a Bounce House, Music Stage, Pony Rides, Pumpkin Patch, Carnival Games, Wagon Rides, Food & Fun! They will be crowning the Bailey Fest King & Queen from The Sanibel School who will be holding an essay contest to choose the winners. This event is a great way to get you and your family in the fall spirit!


4.  Tween-Waters Halloween Party

One of the most fun parties of the year is the annual Tween-Waters Halloween Party. People plan their costumes all year and they are over the top! Tween-Waters sets up a huge tent and has a bars set up throughout and hires a band to keep you dancing through the night.
